We understand that the recording
studio industry is huge but limited.
There is a real abundance of jobs compared to the number of graduates
and natural born studio engineers.
GoGoStudios receive around 7 C.V.s per week by mail and e-mail.
Some people just phone up and ask for a job, this is certainly not the right
approach.
The person you are calling has no ideah who you are and has no paperwork on
your
qualifications. You should always send something first before phoning.
We try to offer advice when we can.
The most important thing is to learn your equipment and sequencing software.

Applicants must be able to fulfil the following BASIC tasks.
-Be able to tune a Guitar
-Be able to Re-String a Guitar
-Be able to Mic up a drum Kit
-Be able to assemble and disassemble a drum kit
-Be able to hold a conversation with visiting clients
-Be fluent in Dreamweaver and web-design
-Be fluent in Photoshop
-Be fluent in Microsoft Word
-Be able to do telesales for our advertising websites.
-Be Punctual and reliable.
-Be a fast and competent operator of both PC and MAC computers
including Windows & Mac OS operating systems
-Be fluent using MySpace website
-Be fluent in Networking between computers
-Be fluent in both emagic logic or Apple Logic and Digidesign Pro-tools
or ProTools M-Powered
-Be able to Normalize audio files in any audio program
-Be able to convert files between different formats using any programmes provided.
-Be able to talk on the phone fluently, ask questions and hold a conversation
with clients talking about their project
-Be able to organize leads, connectors and stationary.
-Be able to tidy, vacuum and dust. Including equipment maintenance and cleaning
-Be able to maintain studio gear
-Be able to programme sound modules, keyboards, midi patchbays.
-Be able to use MIDI fluently and create virtual midi setups in sequencer
environments.
-Be able to record and program MIDI and be aware of midi
control change numbers (0-124)
-Be able to play basic chords on a Guitar and a Piano/Keyboard
